About

Treviño Park Austin proposes a bike park that provides fun and challenging rides for all age groups and skill-sets. The John Treviño Metro Park contains a mixture of excellent loam and clay, which is the foundation of a great bike park. The elevation change and slope toward the river provides a great opportunity to build flowing mountain bike trails.

We have witnessed first hand, what this type of park can do in terms of community building. We see the skilled bikers teaching beginners how to manage and handle obstacles. Through these interactions, we then see friendships begin and life long love for biking/skating and fitness ensues.

East Austin does not have sanctioned mountain bike trails, BMX trails/jumps, or a concrete Skatepark. Providing the community the ability to progress their biking skills in a controlled environment will continue to keep Austin, Texas a place known for raising world class bikers and skaters. We propose different park amenities for riders and skaters of all sizes and abilities.
